What is the Polishing Roll?
Polishing Roll
When prepping for a flawless blued finish on a firearm, it's critical to have a perfect polish on the metal, and the Forster Polishing Roll provides the polishing compound needed to get your gunmetal to a perfect finish. Each roll ships in a 20-inch length that can be cut or trimmed to size. The material is impregnated with silicone carbide, so while it polishes, it also prevents any rust from emerging that'll ruin a blued finish. As well as helping to prepare a polished finish, the polishing roll can be used to finish other kinds of metal, making it a handy, versatile option to have on-hand.
Every system is hand-fitted by master gunsmiths at our East Coast armory vault and undergoes a strict 4-stage optical shock and live-fire proofing test before dispatch to ensure sub-MOA reliability right out of the box.
